About this workshop
Okido Yoga is also known as “Daily Life Yoga”. This does not simply mean setting aside a specific amount of time each day
to practise yoga postures, breathing exercises and the like. Rather, it is about integrating yogic principles and methods
into every aspect of one’s daily life—learning to use the body and mind in a yogic way throughout the day.
But what does it mean to be “yogic”?
We hope this workshop will offer you practical insights and tips to enhance your everyday movements and posture,
and to support a greater sense of balance in mind and body.
At the end, we’ll take time to enjoy a cup of tea together as a group.

What to bring: Your own yoga kit (yoga mat, block, belt, eye-pillow, blanket, and thin pillow.)
If you need to borrow any items from us, please let us know in advance.

1) If you are experiencing symptoms of ill health or have reason to believe you may have Covid-19 or any other infectious illness,
please do not attend in-person. We will refund your advance payment, minus a £2 administration fee.
2) You will be asked to confirm that you take responsibility for your own health and safety.

This mini-retreat is a one-day workshop that offers an enjoyable experience of the essence of Okido Yoga. We will serve
balanced vegan lunch, using organic ingredients whenever possible. The programme will include deep stretching exercises,
both static and dynamic exercises, a simple home-treatment practice, philosophical study, and meditation.
